Ice Marketing and Machine Sales/Rentals (Aust) began back in 1993. Our founder, Paul Hale, noticed that there was a lack of reliable ice suppliers for construction sites in the eastern states of Australia. Workers, therefore, struggled to obtain sufficient supplies of ice for their requirements, which was a problem all year round, but especially in the hot, humid summer months. Paul took it upon himself to resolve this issue and established Ice Marketing and Machine Sales/Rentals (Aust).

In the early days, when Ice Marketing and Machine Sales/Rentals (Aust) was created, Paul hired out ice machines to pubs. He imported commercial ice machines from New Zealand and he quickly got to know which brands were the most reliable, efficient, and easy to clean and service. The business quickly expanded and soon Paul was supplying ice machine hire and ice makers not only to the construction industry but to local football clubs and industrial sites as well.
